Fast filter bank design (ffbd) in matlab

The following Matlab project contains the source code and Matlab examples used for fast filter bank design (ffbd). The goal here is to design M analysis and synthesis FIR filters so that the perfect reconstruction (PR) conditions are satisfied (or almost satisfied) and the energy in the analysis and synthesis filters' stopband areas is minimized (strong stopband attenuation).
