The following Matlab project contains the source code and Matlab examples used for simulation describing the electrical activity of nerve cell (neuron) by solving cable equation . Simulation describing the electrophysiological behavior of a biological neuron (nerve cell). Two sets of membrane kinetics are included: Hodgkin-Huxley and Schwarz for unmyelinated and myelinated axons.
